I have just spent the last three weeks reading the 10 books about Uthred. I cannot wait to read about him enjoying Bebbanburg and uniting Englaland. I was also enjoying the pagan side of your Hero.

I am French and wondered why you did not bring more Frankish personnages in your novels. Interactions were numerous during that period (of course less than after the  invasion in 1066). We just learned that great mails and weapons were made and that a monk/priest came to edward’s court. People often forget that, my region, Flanders and Artois were settled by Saxons as well (just look at toponyms).
