A short anecdote:

I was convinced by my wife to finally give Game of Thrones a chance…I did – and I ended up loving it. To fill the void waiting for the next season… I then ‘binge-watched’  Vikings…then to fill the void waiting for that next season… I binge-watched THE LAST KINGDOM.

Now,  as I wait for the next seasons of all of these… I watched a number of documentaries based on these historical times (I’m now obsessed)…but it wasn’t enough. I then decided to look for a fictional book based somewhat on historical events…I picked out THE EMPTY THRONE purely based on the picture of the cover…read it quicker than I have ever read a book. I have only ever did that once before in my life (when I was 15 years old) picked a book by the title and cover…it was THE WINTER KING and remember enjoying it 19 years ago.

I never made the connection of these 2 books – until I finished THE EMPTY THRONE recently and saw the other titles of your books, to my surprise – you are THE WINTER KING author too!

It was almost a weird elongated fate…I have now made it goal to read ALL your work.

I have never really been an avid reader, I have now changed!!! So for that, I thank you.
