Having watched the Sharpe series on TV prior to reading your most excellent book series, I always imagine Sharpe looking like Sean Bean (it’s hard not to!). Obviously you describe Sharpe in your books in a different light, the main discrepancy being he has black hair. So………. to that end, If you could choose an actor that fits with your image of Sharpe, who would it be! Would be interesting to know what the real Sharpe (your Sharpe!) looks like!
