Dear Mr Cornwell,

Have you been made aware of the archeological research and suggestion relating to the “final” battle betweeh Aethelstan and Constantin (with his Danish/Norse allies) which suggests that Brunnanburgh is located close to Scotch Corner on the A1.

An article was recently released and commented upon in THE TIMES but must be available in more learned journals.
