I would like to start off by thanking you for greatly improving and linguistically illustrating a recent day visit to Winchester in the midst of a two week visit to London from Ontario to visit my wife’s sister.

Secondly, having read the Warlord Chronicles as a child (and dozens of times since) I get so frustrated every time a new King Arthur movie comes out and its not based on your work.   As much as I adore the Last Kingdom (waiting patiently for the follow up to Flame Bearer) I need to be the next in a long line to ask WHEN?  When will the Warlord Chronicles get their due either as a mini series on the big screen?

(secondary note do you have actors in mind when writing?  Every time I read your description of Steapa’s face looking as if its been stretched too tightly over his skull, I involuntarily picture Ralf Moeller.  (Gladiator….  and Beerfest I suppose…)

Once again, thank you for countless hours of reading enjoyment.  From the Saxon Stories, to the Grail Quest to Redcoat, the Fort and all the way back to Stonehenge, I truly appreciate the escape you’ve seen fit to give to us all.
