Mr. Cornwell,

I just started Sharpe today, and I have a couple questions:

1. I got Sharpe’s Tiger first since it’s the first in chronological order, but I know it wasn’t published first. Should I read the series in chronological order, published order, or something else?

2. Is Private Mallinson named after Allan Mallinson, or is that just a coincidence?
