Is it reasonable to assume that any character not identified as an authentic historic personage in your Historical Notes is fictional?   I just finished “Sharpe’s Gold” and in that book, Wellington, Cox and Massena are real while Sharpe and Harper are not, but what of the others?  One thing (among many) that I love about your novels is being introduced to historical events that I had never known occurred.  Thanks for many hours of interesting and educational reading.
