Dear Mr. Cornwell

I’ve just finished reading “Fools and Mortals”, and wanted to say how much I’ve enjoyed it.  Many years ago, I wrote my Masters thesis on Henry Carey and his family, and I’ve always felt that they deserved more attention and recognition!

It’s great to see them brought to life, and, having taken part in more than a few (very) amateur productions over the years, your portraits of the individual players (and the description of the rehearsal process) all seemed very familiar!

I hope we’ll see some more of Richard, Silvia et al in the future!
