Hello Mr Cornwell,

my name is Cormac. I’m a fan of your books, the Last Kingdom series and the Sharpe series, which I am reading. My friend tried to get me to look at the game of thrones series, but they didn’t have the same spark. Also, I’m in year 7 and one of the only people in my school that doesn’t sit around playing some game everyone calls “Fortnite”.  Anyway, I’m trying to write my first novel at the moment. Obviously I’m aware of the fact that it probably won’t get published, but I’ve just wondered if you had any suggestions to help me with my writing. like your great novels, it is a historical novel.( American Civil War) I figure that you don’t need to waste time reading unfinished manuscripts that probably aren’t very good, but i’d just like a suggestion or two to help me along.
