Hello Mr Cornwell ,

I am a big fan , The Saxon series were the first books id ever got into and enjoyed and i still read them regularly today ! I used to watch Sharpe with my grandfather and was amazed to find it was all linked to you ! I went along time loving both the Sharpe show and the Saxon books but never knowing they were both of your work !

I’ve spent the last year researching on a subject I’ve wanted to do a book for and i wanted to ask permission to use your signature ‘historical note’ that you use , i think it perfectly sums up that bridge between fiction and fact !

I won’t disclose any details of my ideas but i feel if i could use the note section as you do it would benefit a lot as I’ve chosen something that has few records !
