Hello Mr. Cornwell,
I would like to say that after listening to your the first four books of The Saxon Stories, I was absolutely blown away by how very well detailed they were. The characters I visualized perfectly and the battle scenes were rich. I’ll keep this short, as I know you are quite a busy gentlemen. Audio Book 1, 2, and 4 were read by a fellow named Jonathan Keeble and he did an absolutely remarkable job bringing to life your stories. His accents were superb, his voice acting at times lead me to for a moment think there were multiple people actually talking with one another. These other fellows that took over in book three, five and beyond just don’t come anywhere near to living up to this guys ability to bring your stories to life. I thought I saw book 3 Narrated by Jonathan Keeble, but it vanished. Is there anyway you could pull some strings or flex your influence a bit to get the folks at (I think Penguin Audio?) to get Mr. Keeble back to narrating your content for your future books? If you need an example of what I’m talking about, listen to your book four on Audio and then listen to your book five. You’ll see the difference.
Best Regards,
Eric R. Burns
