Mr. Cornwell,
Thank you for your wonderful gift that you so articulately give to all the readers of the stories you spin. I have read most of your books and I dearly love the characters you so richly paint. I appreciate your careful study of history and that you bring it life so vividly. I was thrilled when they chose your books as a tv series, for one reason; more people can be exposed to your work and grow to love you as an author. Secondly, your story lines are just plain good fun! Great stories need to be told and I heartily applaud all Sharp’s travels, Uhtred’s humor, and Arthur’s valor. I have never written a writer before, however if possible, I would gladly thank Charles Dickens if I could. If there is any benefit to this modern world of tablet readers and social media it is to be able to reach out and tell you how well you are loved. Holding a book in one’s hand having the canvas come alive in one’s mind is one of the greatest gifts I know.
