Just wanted to say thank-you for all the great reading. From the Sharpe series which I’ve read multiple times, Agincourt, The Warlord Chronicals to The Last Kingdom Series. Beautifully blending history with fiction, in a straightforward reading style (not pretentious nor simplistic).

Have you ever found it funny how Sean Bean survives the entire Napoleonic War as Richard Sharpe, yet dies habitually in other stories (Boromir, Ned Stark)? Though as good as it was to watch Sean Bean in the Sharpe series on TV, it would be nice if someone were to redo it, from Sharpe’s beginning in India. I must confess, I never did care for how the show introduced Richard Sharpe, or how he was promoted.

Anyways, thanks again, and I look forward to whatever you tackle next, if it’s the Roman’s, the Boer war, or even another telling of Robin Hood (though that may be done to death already).
