Thanks again for your response to my previous messages the last one being about other historical characters you’d write about. Glad to hear Sharpe maybe getting another outing in the future.. Poor old Boy its been a while for him and Harper… it got me thinking (worrying) could this  be his final-final outing? … will death finally  catch up with him and give him the good news about his many missed appointments?? (I reckon if it was up to Sharpe it’d be  in a hail of round shot and smoke… Or maybe… just maybe  he makes it long enough to witness the Sparrow Hawk thing Wellington suggested to Queen Victoria… maybe he  even got to quip “Sparrow Hawks sir!??… I prefer eagles.. French ones!”  fingers crossed our man makes it to a dignified and peaceful end somewhere… and Harper too of course!
