I am a huge fan of your books as a former British soldier I love Sharpe because I see myself in him ( supposedly one of my family fought at Waterloo) but as a Northumbrian ( now living in Connecticut) I have a deep affection and affinity with Uhtred I am writing you in the hope that you never let him become a Christian ( I myself am asatru) and when he eventually dies please let it happen with a sword in his hand… thank you for the autograph several years ago …
