Hello Mr Cornwell.
As I always do every couple of years I find myself re-reading (audiobook this time, Jonathan keeble is brilliant for these books) the story of Arthur, it’s by far my favourite of your work and the best version of the Arthurian legend, in my opinion. Now I won’t ask if there will be more books, because it’s clear that none are needed. However! And I’m sure others have asked, is there any talk of them being adapted to the screen? I can see the three books being an epic film trilogy. As long as they’re kept true to the books and aren’t ruined by some production company who don’t know their Badon hills from their bosworth fields. It could easily rival the three films about that short guy who destroys the ring or that recent tv show, game of something or other. Oh and as a fleeting last question, was Merlin based on someone, a total product of your imagination or a way of putting yourself in the story haha! Thanks!
