Dear Mr Cornwell
I own all your books. Many first editions. I recently finished Fools and Mortals. I am as big a fan of Shakespeare as I am a Bernard Cornwell fan. Will there be any more in this line? (My fingers are crossed)!
Will we ever see Starbuck again? I am a somewhat civil war addict and I enjoyed meeting him.
No matter. I am now and will always be a Bernard Cornwell disciple. I had the distinct good fortune of meeting you and listening to your presentation a few years ago in Los Angeles. I will always remember this as a real high light in my life. I truly mean that.
Best always
Jim Calvagna
Bernard,
I’ve truly enjoyed all your novels – and I just discovered your story about “Richard” Shakespeare. And it is wonderful!!!
So this is just a short note to ask if you might think about a follow-on (or 2, or 5, or 10)? I’m positive your audience would really enjoy any follow-up’s you might write.
Thanks again for all the great stories, and particularly “Fools and Mortals”!

P.S. We are just down the road from Staunton, Virginia, home of the American Shakespeare Center. So we see lots of the Master’s plays – and really enjoy your going back to when they were originally written and produced!
