Mr. Cornwell,

I truly enjoy your books. I just competed Battle Flag and I noted a factual error in the historical notes. You refer to the 5th New York as the regiment with the highest casualty rate in one day in the war. I would encourage you to look up the exploits of the 1st Minnesota. They suffered 82% casualties on the second day of Gettysburg. I believe they are the US army regiment to have incurred the highest casualty rate in one day during the war. It is worth the read as they were asked to buy time to allow a gap to be filled at a critical moment on Cemetery Ridge.
