Dear Bernard,

I’m sure you’re an extremely busy man, so I’ll try not to take up too much of your time with this email. I have just found out, tonight in fact, that my favourite book trilogy of all time is being made into a TV series. I have waited patiently for many, many years for this. I thought (hoped really) that Peter Jackson would take the reins to your fabulous Arthur trilogy. As I know for a fact he would make an excellent job of turning them into the quality film trilogy that they deserve. Nevertheless I’m extremely pleased that they are being made into a TV series.

The Warlord Chronicles have been in some of the most fantastic reads of my entire life. I have read them many times and I can’t thank you enough for for bringing these books to everybody. I have both sets of audio books that were read by Edmund Dane and Jonathan Keeble and I’m so glad that finally the great Derfel Cadarn, Arthur and the Fabulous Merlin will be brought to my screens. Please, please, please! make sure they do a good job of it!

Many thanks to you my friend,

Ian Greenfield.

Ps. I was so sad when Tristan died.
