Just wanted to pass along my gratitude for your great work, and the countless hours of reading joy your books have given me and many others to whom I’ve spread the word. Sharpe’s Tiger may be the best gift I’ve ever received (though it sat on the shelf for a couple years before I decided to give it a try), as it started my Cornwell journey which likely won’t end until I’ve read them all. Just finished the Starbuck books and thankfully still have War Lord and several of your other books to look forward to.. I know you get this ALL the time, but it sure would be satisfying to see Blythe get his comeuppance if you ever feel the urge to return to Starbuck and the Civil War! After the Sharpe and Saxon series, you surpassed the brilliant Patrick O’Brian as my favorite author. By the way, O’Brian’s biography by Tolstoy is a fascinating and highly recommended read. I wish you health and happiness and hope the joy of writing stays with you for many more years! Thank you!!
