There has been talk in the past of an omnibus-type collection of Sharpe books, but you’ve said that won’t happen until you’ve written the last Sharpe. You’re writing the next Sharpe now – will this be the last and can we then expect a collection? Or do you anticipate more Sharpe to come?

Separately, once the next Sharpe is done, do you think you’ll ever go back to the Saxons, perhaps with Hereward the Wake? Or would you look at the 100-Years War again – Jeanne d’Arc etc? Maybe the Elizabethans?
