I have thoroughly enjoyed reading many of the books in your Last Kingdom series, and have just started reading War Lord.

I recall reading or hearing somewhere that you are a descendant of the original owners of Bamburgh Castle, and would be very interested to know if this is true.

I have visited the castle myself, and was suitably impressed by it!
