I picked up your your novel “War Lord” as I saw it dealt with Northumberland. Great read and I enjoyed it as I have a number of your previous books. My interest was derived from from one of my ancestors some 30 plus generations back. My many times great grandfather was Humphrey De Ogle of Ogle castle (still exists today) a Saxon Lord who was born about 1054. Your descriptions of the life and times in  Northumberland helped put some context to my personal family history. Thankyou.
