Just curious about something: I’m on a Cornwall reading binge, and I’ve noticed that in most, if not all, you use “hoofs” and “hooves” interchangeably. Is there a reason for this? Is there a distinction between the two that I am not seeing? (I also noticed “gray” and “grey” in the same paragraph in The Archer’s Tale. ?? Same question. ) Thanks. Really enjoying your work.
