My son and I love all your books, but at the moment especially the Last Kingdom series, which I am watching again. That scene where Alfred, who is dying, talks to Uhtred to forgive him is an amazingly moving one and it made me want to hug my three kids quite frankly! Apologies for being soppy. Anyway, it also prompted me to say a big thank YOU for the massive amount of enjoyment, stimulation of the imagination and increasing love for history that your books have brought me and my family and I am sure many, many others.

Brilliant.
