Dear Mr. Cornwell, As a sixteen-year-old student, I can happily say that you are easily my favorite author and that I have used your books as the basis for choosing the historical topics of many reports. I am greatly anticipating the arrival of The Fort, for I vacation in Maine every summer. However, I live in Wheeling, West Virginia, which is located in the northern panhandle of the state, less than an hour away from Pittsburgh. This is the area in which a great deal of the French and Indian War took place. Having said this, many of your stories involve conflicts among the British and the French.
