Dear Mr. Cornwell, Thank you for providing me so much pleasure through your writing. I enjoy (enjoyed) all of your books, not just the terrific Sharpe series. I have recently been watching the Sharpe tv / dvd series. They are fun and enjoyable, but I always feel mildly offended when they change your/Sharpe’s storylines. I have one tiny request and one simple question. request: In Scoundrel, there is mention of a sweatshirt with the name of some bar in Scituate on it. As a Marshfield boy, I was terribly offended you would mention Scituate before us. The only path to forgiveness I see is a minor Marshfield mention somewhere in a future book.

Question: How many people make the Rifleman Dodd Connection in Sharpe’s Escape? Again, thank you for many hours of enjoyment, and I look forward to many more. Kevin Worsh
