In Robert Graves’ book ’Proceed Sergeant Lamb’, his account of The War of Independence, which I’ve just finished, Graves has Sergeant Lamb describe Sir George Collier’s feat at Penobscot Bay as a ’glorious action’ but then frustratingly only sketches it out briefly over about a page because Lamb played no part in it. I’m now thoroughly looking forward to your more in depth treatment in the autumn! Thank you for all the pleasure I’ve had from reading your books over the years, and please add one more vote to the Starbuck Must Ride Again campaign.
