Hello Bernard, as a first time writer I am trying to fit in as much research as i can before really getting stuck into the plot. However, I am having trouble finding any historical information about certain places I need to know about. This question is not about anything that you’ve written as I’ve read nearly all of your books bar a few Sharpe novels. I am putting this question to you as I believe you may be one of the very few people who will have a reliable answer. My question is: Do you know the whereabouts of and any historical information about the country known as Gegeland? I get the impression that it is the modern day island of Gotland but I can’t be sure. Sorry for the silly question but any help you could give would truly save my story. William
