I am just dropping a line to say that your stories have touched me greatly. I started with The Last Kingdom TV show on Netflix. When I saw they were based off of books I was curious and read the Warlord Trilogy which became my favorite book series I ever read… or at least tied with the books of Joe Abercrombie. I don’t know what it is about the stories you write but it feels like a glimpse through time and when found out that you were the writer of Sharpe a series I watched years ago and enjoyed, I just thought how funny it was that one author could have such a great impact on their fans to the point that the fan didn’t even realize who was responsible for their knowledge and entertainment, As I Just finished the Warlord Trilogy, I plan to start the Saxon Stories right after. I hope by the time I finish this series there is even more of your works to read.
