Over the years I have spent months, if not years reading your books and learning about British history that for whatever reason was never taught in schools.

There is one additional area I would be delighted if you could address. The capture of Gibraltar.

I would have expected Patrick O’Brian to have covered this but alas he is no longer with us.

You have taught me so much already. It would be fantastic if you could once again apply your considerable talents to possibly the most strategically significant conquest in British history.
