Hi Mr. Cornwell, I was just wondering if you could help me with something. Is it essential to visit the place you are writing about? For example I am writing a book set during the Jacobite Rebellion so would it be essential for me to visit places in Scotland where the Rebellion resided or battle grounds or would educated guess work suffice? do you visit all the places you write about?
