dear Bernard, as a Nottingham born fan I feel like I’m going to have to beg for you to give us a good Robin Hood tale soon. I can’t help but feel that as a writer with obvious love and respect for archery and a track record of writing about archers that you must have an instinct making you want to write the Robin saga? please please please?

also a thought… if you could travel in time to see just one period, one event, what would you do and why? I know it’s a strange question, but it’s one I like to ask historians.(esp such awesome ones as you). Best wishes, Matt
