Hi Mr. Cornwell, I hope you’re well? First of all i would like to thank you for the response you sent me with your tips on writing. I’ve found (just like you suggested) that I’ve written more on my book by just writing away and stopping to do research when I come to a point I feel it is necessary to do some, rather than just researching everything and writing nothing! So thank you for your well given advice there. Secondly I have a few questions for you. Firstly have you any plans for Sharpe to run into his father in any future books?

Secondly what are your thoughts on the tv episode Sharpe’s Justice? Would you ever consider Sharpe meeting his mother or any other children she might have had? And finally I’ve just finished reading Copperhead and would just like to say that i love what you’ve done with the characters in that story. I liked Adam Falcouner in Rebel, but now I don’t, I think he’s a coward. The complete opposite to Starbuck, which in contrast makes both of them good characters. Belvedere Delaney is a nasty piece of work and Truslow (for some reason) reminds me of Harper, I don’t know why, maybe it’s because they are both fighting men that have simplr views on life. Also can I ask, is Colonel Lassan Sharpe’s son? I’m sure he and Lucile had a son called Patrick? Now I’ve rambled on enough, thank you for all your books, you are a great inspiration to a budding author! (I hope all this makes sense!)Keep writing and keep well. Thanks, Rob
