As I’ve written before, My husband and I love your books. I just read on your question page your reference to a book, “The Hammer & Cross” by Robert Ferguson. I’ve just started reading his “The Vikings – A History” which was published in 2009 and was about to write to ask if you had read it. I wonder if it is the same book? It is fascinating reading. I loved the quote by David Dumvill in Ferguson’s introduction on the image of the revisionist history of the Vikings as”long- haired tourists who roughed up the locals a bit.” If you haven’t read it, may I suggest it?
