Dear Mr. Cornwell, I’ve just read through your Warlord Trilogy, and I have to say, they are by far the best series of books I’ve ever read. I’ve always been a fan of Arthur, and I still never tire of his stories. I’ve been thinking about the story as a whole and I have but one question, why was Uther so angry with Arthur? From what I can gather Mordred senior was a drunk general. Arthur seems the better son bastard or not. So how could Uther like Mordred senior more than Arthur?
