Dear Mr. Cornwell I just wanted to say as a lover of history, that your books are some of the best and certainly my favorite historical fiction. I have ordered your books from the UK simply to get them sooner than the US release date. The BBC Sharpe productions with Sean Bean were also quite enjoyable, I do wish that your Saxon books could be put into film, its a rare thing to have a well made film of that era. Thank you sir for all the hours of a excellent reading. Also I am somewhat interested in the idea of the “three spinners” and fates, is that a historical belief of the northmen? Also I have heard differing opinions on the origins of the Scots and Irish if they were originally on there or came from Europe? Thanks for your time, William J Bratton
