Hello Bernard, I’ve never contacted an author before, but wanted to just to let you know I am a great fan of all your books, especially Sharpe. I only recently discovered them when I moved to the UK from Australia. Loving your Viking series very much as well! I know you do not want book ideas and can understand why totally, so may I ask instead if you have thought of it and have any plans for it – Is there scope chronologically speaking, to have Sharpe involved in one of the early Afghan wars? Couldn’t think of a better time to write something of the early Afghan wars. I’ve looked for any books written in your style of British soldiers in these wars, but to no avail.
