I have read all of your Sharpe books at least twice (in most cases more) and also recently completed the classic “Vanity Fair”, with the main character being Becky Sharp. I know they are spelt differently, but I found myself wondering if they were possibly related, or if they even met? – Both books (Sharpe’ Waterloo) have significant scenes set at the Duchess of Richmond’s Ball. With both of them there it must have been one scandalous affair:-) What do you think? Nicole.Jolliffe
