Hi Mr Cornwell, You often get asked if you will write a book on Sharpe’s experiences in the Flanders campaign and you normally reply that having taken Sharpe back once, you are not inclined to do it again.(I guess that you are referring to the stories set in India during Sharpe’s earlier career). My question is when you refer to “back in time” do you mean pre India or some other point in time? When you had originally finished the Sharpe stories and television brought greater fame you were required to write more adventures for our hero. This meant you slotting in stories in between your original books which also meant going back in time. I suppose really I am just trying to get a fix on how far back you would see yourself taking Sharpe, and perhaps Harper, on another adventure. Many thanks, Tony
