Dear Bernard I have read all your books in the starbuck Chronicles and read each of them maybe fifteen times each over the years, even though they are a fantastic read you still haven’t written the follow on from the bloody ground. Do you have any plans to carry on with Starbuck? I really hope you will write more on Starbuck but after 14 years since The bloody ground I dont feel that confident you will. I also love all your other books but Starbuck is my favourite. All the best to you. Chris Horne

Hi Bernard, I have read all(I think)of the Sharpe books and The Grail Quest series but have only just come to The Starbuck Chronicles. The stories are brilliant with extremely good historical content. They have left me wanting more, especially to see how Billy Blythe gets his “come-uppance”. I have been reading the various E-mails sent to you and see that they are quite old and therefore would ask you again if there are going to be (time permitting of course)any more in this excellent series?
