Dear Mr Cornwell, First of all allow me to say how much I enjoy reading your books! They have been a source of great enjoyment and inspiration for me. In fact, I did my BA Dissertation on Wellington basically as a result of watching and reading Sharpe. I am now back at university studying for my MA and am about to start work on my dissertation, the subject of which is Irish Catholic soldiers in the British army during the peninsula campaigns. I was wondering if you might be able to suggest any sources of information or the best place to research this topic? I feel slightly cheeky asking this, but I felt that with your long term involvement with this period and subject you would be the best person to ask. Thank you in advance for any help you are able to offer and please keep doing what you do. Best wishes, Charlie.
