I had a question about your writing methods. When you write your novels do you design the plot out completely before hand? Since your novels are Historical Fiction you obviously have the guidelines of the main plot written in history, but I’m wondering about the personal subplots and dilemmas of your fictional characters. Are they preconceived? I write both Fictional and Historical Fiction stories. When I write the historical fiction stories I do my research about the era and events, down to the demographics of the people, and I plot it out. But when I write fictional stories I find it difficult to plot it out without the guidelines of history. Any suggestions?
