It seems to me that you have made a mistake in Battle Flag at p.179. You have Swynyard saying in August 1862 that a man he had known had enjoyed drinking Veuve Cliquot champagne. But the first documented sale of Veuve Cliquot occurred the NEXT year in 1863. So how do you like THEM apples? Otherwise am enjoying the book.
