In regards to Albuera to quote your forward in Sharpe’s Waterloo book “The battle is the plot”. Besides there are also real life soldiers who did fight at that battle and Fuentes D’Onoro. So it would not be impossible for Sharpe. On another note Have you ever considered writing a one of book on the Siege of Toloun and Bonaparte’s first real mention on the world stage.
