I am reading Azincourt and finding it a really excellent story but I have one question regarding Henry Vs flag as described on page 136 (of paperback edition). the kings flag, the great quartered banner that twice displayed the golden leopards of England and twice displayed the golden lilies of France. I was under the impression that since Richard I the flag would have shown three lions passant guardant. Could you please clarify the flag of Henry V for me; did he have a personal CoA with leopards rather than lions? I would have thought as King of England his flags/banners etc would be quartered twice displaying three lions and twice displaying three lilies. Thank you for your time. Best wishes HNH
