Dear Mr Cornwell, I really love your books, my favourites are Arthur Trilogy (Do you like Crystal Cave by Mary Stewart?) and The Saxon Stories (or they are viking?). I am pagan with all my heart and very fascinated by British pre-christian past. I am doing a research into pictish history – Scotland before Scots – did ever come across anything related to it?

Another question – I have seen you several days ago in Warwick Castle and you’ve mentioned your favourite books – but unfortunately I’ve forgotten the name of the author, can you please tell it again.
