Bernard, One of my favorite Sharpes books is Sharpes Prey in that it went over some of the earlier years of Richard Sharpe, when he was young. Have you ever thought about writing a short story about his early days when he meet Maggie Joyce at the age of 12 and stayed with her for three years in her tavern?
