Dear Sir, I take great interest in the American civil war and first read your Starbuck chronicles and was disappointed when they were not finished. Having since read much of your other work, I am glad you concentrate on English history since it is so rich. I just finished Sharpe’s Christmas/Sharpe’s Ransom and acknowledge the irony of reading about a king’s soldiers exploits on American’s independence day. Perhaps you could write about Robin Hood? One day I hope you do get around to writing one more volume to learn Starbuck’s fate. Whatever you write will be great. Best Wishes, Michael
