Hello, Mr. Cornwell, first of all, congratulations for such a brilliant imagination and for making my 21st century-life less meaningless… Also, sorry if my English fails sometimes, I’m from Norway, and even though I’m pretty confident about our English classes, I can make some mistakes sometimes.. Well, I read all of your books (at least great part of them..) and I, as an Asatruist (those who follow the Old Germanic Religion), would like to ask if your wide knowledge of our beliefs and our culture is derived somehow of a closeness with our religion? Personally, living in a ‘Christian world’ is a big problem for me, and religious fanaticism and stupidity among ALL beliefs and spiritual choices really gives me a migraine headache.. So, I dare to say that what your characters think about Monotheistic Religions comes really close to what I think about them. And that leads to my questions: What is your religious belief? Does that affect your work? How do you feel about having to accept someone else’s religion just because it is the ‘most popular one’ in the world? Thank you very much, and I’m sorry to touch on such a delicate subject, I just can’t avoid..
